Psychotherapy in Hastings,
and online.
Welcome
I’m Jack (he/him), a psychotherapist working one-to-one with adults in Hastings and online.
I see clients in my own practice and through Hastings Therapy Centre. I take an integrative approach, tailoring my methods to each individual’s needs. You don’t need to have all the answers or the right words — we start where you are and work together from there.
How I work
Therapy with me starts with how things actually are for you — not with a label or a method I’m trying to fit you into.
I offer a safe space where you can say things you might never have said aloud before. With that said, we will always go at a pace that feels right for you - you stay in control of what we talk about, and when.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, and at the heart of my practice is the relationship we build together. I will be guided by what feels important to you in each session, as we explore your thoughts and feelings, and also your bodily sensations, which can sometimes reveal insights that words alone cannot capture.
What people bring
I have experience supporting people with a wide range of issues, including:
Sessions & fees
My fee is £55 per session. Sessions last 50 minutes and are held at the same time each week. I offer a free, no-obligation 30-minute phone or Zoom call, so you can ask any questions and we can see whether it feels like a good fit.
Everyone is different — for some people a few sessions is enough, while others find it valuable to continue for much longer. After an initial call, I usually suggest we begin with six sessions, then take stock together and decide how to proceed. You’re free to end whenever it feels right for you.
About me
My training is in integrative psychotherapy, which means I draw on a range of approaches - humanistic, psychodynamic, and existential - depending on what feels most useful for you. My work is trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirmative.
I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their ethical framework, which includes receiving regular clinical supervision.
